Blueberry Spread

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2 tsp. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brummel & Brown® Spread

      Instructions

      1. Bring blueberries, water and brown sugar to a boil in small saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until blueberries burst and mixture has thickened slightly, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. (Blueberry mixture must be cooled completely before proceeding with recipe.)
      2. Whisk Brummel & Brown® Spread and cooled blueberry mixture until blended.
      3. Spread on toast, bagels, English muffins, whole grain bread, pancakes or waffles.
